Optimization for OEMs
OEMs (organizations that produce software products)
incorporate optimization for several reasons:
- Optimization makes software products more useful.
For example, a product that collects data, performs statistical
analysis or provides a means of exploring decisions and their
effects can go one stage further and present an optimal solution
- Optimization makes software more valuable.
Customers appreciate the extra features and functions offered
by optimization, and are prepared to pay a premium
- There is a high degree of synergy between
applications that do data collection and storage, analysis, forecasting
and optimization. Optimization is a logical extension to many
software products that make them more useful and more valuable.
