Dash Optimization will be sponsoring and presenting at the International Conference on Computational Management Science. The Dash Optimization presentation is entitled "Solving Hard Mixed Integer Programming Problems using Parallel Xpress-MP" and the abstract is as follows:

With the current trend for chip manufacturers to move towards a high bandwidth multiprocessor paradigm, the use of parallel processing to solve MIP problems is set to become more widely used. In this talk we present details of the multi-threaded implementation of the Xpress-MP Parallel MIP solver. Numerical tests will be given which show the speed-ups that can be expected.
