News - Half Day Seminar on New Technology for Supply
Chain Planning and Scheduling
March 28th - Brussels
For the last three years Dash and Cosytec have
been working on a EU project called LISCOS (Large-scale, Integrated
Supply Chain Optimization Software). Working closely with industrial
and academic partners, Dash and Cosytec have demonstrated a practical
and effective framework whereby optimization and constraint programming
techniques work together to solve the planning and scheduling problems
commonly encountered in the process and manufacturing industries.

still at the proof-of-concept stage, the results have been very
positive, so much so that Dash and Cosytec are considering the release
of a new software product based on this project.
The day will begin at 10.30 and finish with lunch
at 13.00. LISCOS partners including PSA Peugeot Citroen, Barbot,
Procter and Gamble, and BASF, will make short presentations about
the work of the project, and the next steps.
